ABOUT US

Sigma Embroidery was started in 2000 by it's previous owner, the company gradually built up a strong reputation within the village. In June 2006, Steven Shipp of Witchford came to the company for 2 weeks work experience. After realising the potential that the business had and the excitement of the varied work that happened on a day to day basis he returned home and spent many days convincing his parents that this business was right for them. In late August Susan Shipp agreed a deal with the previous owner for a total buy out of the company. 1st September 2006 saw the start of a new beginning for the business with its new owner Susan Shipp. On Friday 1st September the shop was completely gutted and refitted with state of the art furnishings and decor. The business opened its door again on 5th September 2006 after a quick but thorough revamp. The business continued to strive building a much larger business base day after day. The company built up a strong customer base of clients across the whole of cambridgeshire with clients in all parts of the region.

On 1st September 2007 Sigma Embroidery bought out a local competitor, Dianes Designs of Manea. This buy out was necessary for many reasons, it enabled Sigma to gain a much wider customer base including companies in Wales, Northern Ireland, Essex, Yorkshire and so on but also offered Sigma new machinery widening there capabilities, Sigma took the company over under the Sigma Embroidery brand rather than keeping it trading as Dianes Designs.

On 1st March 2008 Sigma Embroidery took over the hairdressing salon adjacent to their Littleport store and began their biggest revamp yet. On the 1st April they opened their fresh new store which offered a much larger customer and working area meaning that Sigma were able to increse their capabilities and also offer plain clothing off of the shelves as well as a quicker turnaround on personalised garments.

To date Sigma run one of the areas best embroidery and printing businesses and provide their services to many Schools, Dance Groups, Colleges, Businesses, Clubs and individuals and offer some of the most competitive prices around. Sigma strive on the quality of their workmanship, the turnaround of their service and the quality of their customer service which in turn means they have a large customer base of highly satified clients.
